Dental Implant Standard Type

A dental implant is a small, screw-shaped post, usually made of titanium, that a dentist places into your jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once it heals and fuses with the bone, a crown (artificial tooth) is attached to the implant, creating a natural-looking and functional replacement tooth.
